As a current student at San Jose State University, I noticed that tutoring appointments are made online or in person with email reminders. This is an effective of way of reminding students of their tutoring appointments and it save a lot of paper work. The tutors would know ahead of time of the task that students need help prior to their meeting.
I used an online tutoring registration system that allowed me to make adjustment to my tutoring schedules with was very successfully. Tutors wrote an evaluation of my performance and gave me recommendations. Elementary schools have grant access for students to check their progress on site that they created.
In addition to tutoring forms and online sites, some teachers have recommended students to download pdfs for assigned texts. Professors have taught students to do research on google or Purdue Owl to review grammar rules. Every student knows how to create work cited pages for research papers. My brother had saved a lot of money when he was able to watch the latest films on his laptop.
Just like streaming, people use many social media to interact with others. Tinder and Coffee Meets Bagel were the most talked about dating applications. The founders of Tinder created a new word called “ Swipe” for a feature to the app. At times, the online dating app was successful but it was also a struggle when there wasn’t a match. Texting has dominated phone calls. People get excited when they received messages from family and friends.
People have busy lives and they don’t have to time to go on shopping for any occasion. The internet makes it possible for people to shop for clothing, food, beverage, and video games. People feel less stressful when they shop online because they can be at their homes instead of waiting in lines. I enjoy shopping on Amazon because it gives me options new and use items with affordable prices. I bought books often Amazon and I would have them in next few days.
