Earlier today, Infinity Ward announced that the studio is working to put in a Field of View changer for the PC version of Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Infinity Ward’s senior community manager, Tina Palacios, posted an update to the official list of upcoming Call of Duty: Ghosts improvements which revealed that the team at Infinity Ward is at work on a FOV changer for the PC version of the game.

Fans have been asking for this feature in Call of Duty: Ghosts for a long time now. PC players have had to use different third-party software to alter the FOV in the game since no other option was available, but Infinity Ward has listened and will be adding it soon. At this time, there is no exact ETA.

Plus, in related news, Infinity Ward has also posted an announcement warning PC players that all third-party software is prohibited and that any players found using it will be permanently banned. More info can be found in the “Ghosts Online Code of Conduct” here.

[UPDATE] Players are reporting that the PC version of Call of Duty: Ghosts has received a patch introducing a FOV changer. Patch notes have not yet been revealed. Stay tuned.
