If you’ve pre-ordered a regular copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops II already, you might want to go back to your retailer and upgrade to a Special Edition of the game, as it is rumored that the game may come in Hardened and Prestige editions.

In a recent GameStop Press Release, the retailer detailed the third wave of pre-ordered bonuses, also revealing a Prestige Edition of the game. See below:

Treyarch VIP Experience Sweepstakes. Enter for your chance to win a tour of Treyarch Studios, a multiplayer session with developers, a swag bag with a signed Prestige Edition of Call of Duty®: Black Ops II, and more.

Additionally, details of both Hardened and Prestige editions of the game have surfaced at the currently ongoing GameStop Expo today. Currently, according to FPS General, these are the rumored contents of the Prestige Edition:

  • Remote-controled UAV Flyer (presumably modeled after the Quadrotor Drone).
  • Exclusive in-game upgrades.
  • Exclusive Zombie Maps.
  • Nuketown 2025 (multiplayer map).

Plus, the version is supposedly presented as a replica Care Package. No pricing information or Hardened Edition details have been outed yet. Stay tuned.

[Update] The official Call of Duty Twitter account tweeted an image of the Prestige Edition, confirming the rumor: Look what’s dropping tomorrow: @Danskdansk @DavidVonderhaar & the @Treyarch team have been working on something special pic.twitter.com/3UeugcTL
