Activision and Sony have kept quiet on the upcoming PS Vita exclusive, Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified, after the announcement at E3 2012, revealing only a logo, name, and estimated release date.
Michael Sportouch, Activision’s European VP and GM of the Santa Monica business unit, has finally lifted the lid on the game, confirming an official reveal at this year’s Gamescom 2012, located in Germany.
The Gamescom reveal of the game was first hinted via Italian game sites Every Eye and German site Play Front, who posted a list online of the games to premiere at the event. It has now been officially confirmed.
“You can really expect us to deliver a true Call of Duty experience,” Sportouch told MCV UK. “We are really excited about the opportunities that the Vita could offer us in terms of connecting with a new audience.”
