[UPDATE] Wooo! If you’re just as excited as I am, I know exactly why. In just four days, on Tuesday, August 7th, Treyarch will be revealing Call of Duty: Black Ops II multiplayer for the first time!

Treyarch’s official Facebook page reads, “Synchronize your watches and start the countdown! Only 4 days left until the worldwide reveal of Black Ops 2 Multiplayer.”
It was speculated that the Black Ops II multiplayer reveal would premiere during Gamescom on August 15th; however, lucky us, we get to see it days early! However, it is possible that the multiplayer will be playable at the event then (and at GameStop Expo).

[Update] Treyarch’s game designer director, David Vonderhaar, recently posted a tweet that hints toward multiplayer at Gamescom: If u could only play what we R playing right now. Will 4ever change how u think about winning or losing. 10 days and the lid comes off.
Treyarch may be saving the big news for Gamescom. Rumors suggest that Activision is planning major event at the fair that will reveal more information regarding multiplayer that isn’t seen in the official Call of Duty: Black Ops II reveal on August 7th.
