Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Viral Teaser #5

[UPDATE] Call of Duty has revealed another viral teaser for the next Call of Duty and has provided an update to last night’s teaser #4.

The viral marketing for Black Ops 2 continues as the fifth teaser image has been unveiled. As you can see below, the image appears to be showing UAV Recon Plane, although a bit different, and one of the four propellers of the Quadrotor Drone revealed in the FPSRussia video.

[Update] As of 4/28, the teaser has been updated to reveal a clear image as you can see here. It is suspected that the UAV Drone is a General Atomic’s Avenger; see image here.

It seems that yesterday’s teaser has been given an update, now playing a video uploaded on the official Call of Duty YouTube channel. Initially, the image presented a quote “The enemy could be anywhere and it could be anyone.” See the video after the break. Read more »

Target Confirms Black Ops 2, Release Date

Target has confirmed the next installment in the Call of Duty series to be Black Ops 2, according to an image of a pre-order card.

IGN received the image through a reader, confirming our predictions of the next Call of Duty title and affirming the release date – November 13th. This is the first official confirmation of the game and release date. The full image can be seen here.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will officially be disclosed during the NBA playoffs on Tuesday, May 1st so keep an eye out!
