Last week, Activision dated the release of Content Collection 1 of Modern Warfare 3 for Playstation 3. The first content set hits the Playstation Network tomorrow on April 19.
Content Collection 1 includes a total of six drops – four all-new multiplayer/ Survival maps: Liberation, Piazza, Overwatch, and Black Box, and, for the first time in Call of Duty history, two Spec Ops missions: Black Ice and Negotiator.
In celebration of the launch of the collection, a Double XP Weekend will go live across ALL platforms starting Friday, April 20 at 2am PST. “Happy prestiging!”
In other news, the official Infinity Ward Twitter page informed that a release for Collection 1 for PC may be dated by the end of this week, so keep a look out for it! For the latest information, check our Twitter page.
